Poise Feminine Wellness Products Awareness Party #PoiseFab5

I'm loving the new growing older mentality our society has adopted.  Although I feel it's leaning towards appearances too heavily, the fact that as we age, doesn't mean it's out to the pasture. I still marvel at the older celebrities who look amazing and although much is to do with plastic surgery, they still wow as much as they did in their younger ages such as Raquel Welch. It's about finding a balance with living healthy and being healthy and that starts out young.  I've preached to my girls in a subtle way about eating right and taking care of their skin and bodies.  I wished someone did that with me as I was growing up.  I have found you are never too young to start living healthy as we are all different and no two persons are alike.  We used to count on this age range of being when we stopped having acne or when we should stop trying to have babies.  We knew the age range existed and some defied it.  This is no different from menopause.  Menopause can hit in the 30's which most probably don't know.

Menopause and peri-menopause are what all women will encounter at some stage in their lives.  Some will be lucky and it will be a somewhat seeming-less passage to a new chapter in their lives.  I mean really, who wouldn't look forward to post-menopause of no menstrual cycle?  I know I can't wait!  What some may not realize, the road to menopause can take years and can be filled with many or little symptoms.  I took advantage of this opportunity to have some friends over for a Poise Feminine Wellness Products Menopause party.  What better way to learn about it then from those who have experienced it and or are going through it?

Soft & Comfortable or Strong & Durable: Charmin 2012 Election #CharminVote

Life is full of surprises, detours and unexpected turns.  Some are good, some are bad and some just pass through without much thought or notice.  As a mother or I suppose a single parent, we are held to a higher standard in being the the rock for everyone.  When someone is sick, we know who becomes the caretaker in spite of being sick herself.  When a major decision has to be made, it's usually guess who all turns to?  These moments require a delicate balance between being soft and strong at the right times with our families and loved ones.  Each situation is different and dependent on who is involved.  I can think of numerous examples where an approach would be suitable for one yet not for another.  My two oldest children are very sensitive and emotional so turning on the soft mode is necessary.  However, my brother, used up my soft mode so when I deal with him, it's much sterner.  The hard approach definitely is the route I take with him.

Every situation is different as is life.  Determining how soft or hard is based on many factors.  This even includes many products in our every day life as we seek out some products that are soft and comfortable or strong and durable.  The choices are vast but for some, there is only one choice.  If you are one of those brand loyal customers or just have one that does not compromise on personal preferences, you understand the whole value placed on toilet paper.  Charmin has opened the debate on all the factors that affect decision makers and now you can participate in the Charmin 2012 election on Facebook.

Snort, Giggle & Play with Peppa Pig Toys Now Available in US

You may not snort, giggle and play like Peppa Pig and her family do but my girls do!  I can admit, I wasn't overly crazy about listening to Peppa Pig and her family snorting especially Pappa Pig but my girls laugh every time because they know how I feel.  My girls have enjoyed the adventures of Peppa and her brother George for some time and they have learned some different words from across the pond such as petro.  Peppa Pig, until now, has only been available on television or on DVD so when the girls received this delightful box of Peppa Pig toys, you would have thought it was Christmas.  What makes these toys so special is it's the first time they are being offered in the United States!  Unfortunately, I don't know where my mom's side of her family is in the United Kingdom so I couldn't rely on them to send some over.  Now, no one has to because the Peppa Pig line of toys are here!

My five year old has latched on to the Fisher Price Peppa Pig toysets and fights with her two year old niece who equally fell instantly for them. They are perfect for little fingers and offer a variety of make believe to play.  Danielle, my five year old, loves the tree swing she can put Peppa Pig in or the little hop scotch matt.  My grandbaby likes the little picnic basket along with the other figures.  They both also want the Peppa Pig plush doll because she's bright and cuddly.  Even my nine year old got into the act of playing with the tea set and cups.  When they drink from the cups, they bottom is in the shape of a pig's snout so they all have cute little piggy noses.  

The entire package was perfectly complete with an addition of the new Peppa Pig the Lost Christmas List which is perfect for the holidays coming.  It's perfect length for bedtime and it's engaging as what child doesn't love Santa?  The story is cute and the illustrations are vibrant and cute.  The DVD contains 10 peppasodes which I found as clever for them to list the episodes like that.  Now, they can watch Peppa Pig anytime they want.

These are must haves if your child loves or even likes Peppa Pig.  If your child hasn't seen Peppa Pig, she's on television and now you can get these cute playsets at stores such as Toys-R-Us and other retailers.  My five year old has played with them every day since we received them.

It Works! Ultimate Body Wrap & Defining Gel Giveaway - 9/12 - US/Canada

It Works! does work and I know because I have tried them and I am on auto-order for receiving three new wraps a month.  I hope you enter so you can see for yourself!

I've been constantly reading about the body wrap craze that has been going on the past few months and I have been very curious to try one. I got one of the wraps, along with an array of other products to try from Kayla Lay, a local distributor.

My favorite product is the greens. I received a serving to try. They were super easy to use. I just mixed a serving with a glass of orange juice. I have been looking for a product to boost my energy and it looks like I have found it! Quirkyness and spunk are a huge part of my personality, but both seemed to disappear after having children.
