Wholly Guacamole and Sonic Prize Pack Giveaway

 

Have you heard the news? Wholly Guacamole is at Sonic and I've already been there, devoured one and love it! If there are two things that I love it is Sonic and Wholly Guacamole. Putting the two together was a genius idea!!!  Although I did not participate in this blogger opportunity, I'm helping to promote it for the Save More Spend Less blog.  I was one of the lucky bloggers that got to work with both great companies to help get the word out about the duo providing more great products. I couldn't wait to try the new Wholly Guacamole dog, but I had to be patient because I hadn't been to Sonic in awhile because of the Cinchspiration weight loss challenge. So finally I had a day that I was able to swing into Sonic to try the new products.

   

My poor hubby was perplexed when I told him I wanted a Wholly Guacamole Dog, but he ordered away (without jalapeno's of course) and let me tell you he was just as excited to try it as I was. I told him we each had to get one and that was it for supper. He of course thought I was loosing my marbles but ordered his and mine along with our diet drinks!! Our daughter was at a friends house so we ate without her!!

 

 When the carhop delivered our food we were both anxious to try the yummy goodness. So we of course dug right in and let me tell you, its a good thing I only let him order one a piece. We are both in love with the Wholly Guacamole Dog!! It is made with an all beef hot dog which is the only kind of hot dog I eat. The pepper jack cheese was just the right amount of kick along with the Wholly Guacamole!! The cheese was also delicious but I could have left the tomatoes off, but the onions were a must have. This perfect flavor combination was fantastic!! They didn't even need ketchup and mustard!!

That Moment You Realized Your Parenting Skills Paid Off

My oldest is just about 24 and has her own almost two year old.  I watch her as an adult, a daughter, an older sister and a mother and realized what a great person she has turned out to be.  I watch my five and nine year old and see the same qualities emerging that I saw in my oldest at their respective ages and am humbled that they are on the same path.  Of course as parents, we never know who will influence our children as the progress with age and we hope for the best.  My oldest had the foresight to run a different path from her friends.  None of her friends ended up in dire situations but they could have or worse yet, my daughter could have.  Could have but didn't.  I do credit her decision making to how I raised her.  

My two younger ones are definitely different but then again, they have siblings whereas my oldest didn't so I'm not sure if that will affect them or make them more loving.  They get along great and it really makes me smile to see how most of the time, they act like best friends.  Don't get me wrong, they still can be holy terrors and mean to one another but they also are great together.  My nine year old strives to be like her older sister and is a giver.  My youngest is a giver but she can be a taker so I'm hoping her young age will level out with being more of a giver.  All three help with our non-profit so that part of giving back has already been instilled in them.

Overall, they are all amazing and besides, how many five and nine year olds would let you complete telephone interviews without being interrupted or heard?  I can't imagine many.  I'm finishing day two of my fifth interview for a new job and they were just absolutely amazing.  They are helping each other, they are getting along and they are just being loving to one another.  I'm very proud of my girls and realized, I must have done something right as a parent.

Angus with Sound and Merida Doll Set Giveaway 7/26 - US ($40 Value)

Brave, the big hit from Disney/Pixas, is a beloved tale of a vibrant redhead who learns a valuable lesson while on a journey she never bargained for.  I can't exactly give it away can I?  We went to see it earlier in the week and my girls really enjoyed it.  There was the red headed connection since my middle one is a red head and they both love horses.  It's a tale that includes a brave girl, Merida, and her strong mother.  I think it's good in that it teaches children that a girl and a woman can be strong and can accomplish a lot on their own.  In the traditional story lines, there is always a boy/man who is the hero so showing girls that they can be strong and brave is good.




My girls already have some of the Brave toys and are beyond happy with them.  They have the bow and arrow along with the sword and shield.  They are good quality toys that have allowed them plenty of play time.  The sword is neat in that with the press of the button, it varies with different clanking noises like a real sword would make.  The Merida dress is just beautiful.  We saw that at the Disney store but did not purchase that.  The dolls available are equally beautiful from Merida to Angus and not to forget, the adorable little brothers.

It Works! Body Wrap Review

I'm someone who is always looking for a way to improve my health.  I can also admit that I want to do it in an easy way because my will power is not all that great.  I have a get healthy giveaway on-going right now and one of my sponsors is an independent distributor of It Works!  She also provided a prize for the giveaway as well as provided two Ultimate Body Applicator complimentary wraps and Defining Gel for me to review.  I have had a professional wrap done and know they work but I was a little skeptical on how effective these were.  I also read some not so nice reviews which further hampered my opinion.  However, I tried both wraps but do want to note that a full "session" is four wraps so keep that in mind.


Wrap 1 - I noticed my skin texture looked smoother.  I regret that I didn't take photos nor did I get to measure.


Wrap 2 - this is where I did measure and I did take photos and I personally can see a difference.  Keep in mind, one complete application of the It Works! wraps is four wraps so to see results already is a great sign.  I didn't get the angle just right either in terms of having the same area covered in the after shot but if you look on the first picture compared to the second picture, after, you can see the puffiness or pooch is less apparent.  My skin texture was smoother and it looked better.  I did lose about an inch.  My skin maintained the appearance too so it wasn't just a temporary phenomena.  

I think each person may respond differently but I do know that my body did respond.  So much so, I just signed up to be a loyal customer so I can get a four pack each month for the next three months at a substantial savings.  I'm very pleased with the results and Angelique is the very sweetest!  


They are easy to use and I kept mine in place with saran wrap.  You have some prep items that are clearly spelled out like drinking a lot of water, avoiding caffeine, etc and you have to wear it for 45 minutes.  It's also made with natural ingredients.

I am leaving the prize up to the winner, we realize that so many people already have a Kindle Fire, so we want everyone to be happy!  Don’t want the Kindle Fire, take an Amazon Gift Card, if that doesn’t work there’s the PayPal Cash option up to $200!  That’s the best way to do it right? Leave it up to the winner!  Anyway lets get to it!
