ReplyDeleteIf I could still play with Barbies I would but society frowns on 42 year old women dragging out the Barbie paraphenalia & copping a squat to play "dolls". Love Barbie!
ReplyDeleteI had one of the very 1st Barbies & her dream house which was cardboard back in the day, I spent many hours playing Barbie!
ReplyDeleteI played with Barbie until I was 14! I loved redecorating and designing my Barbie house.
ReplyDeleteAs a child I loved Barbie and even saved my favorite dolls and have since passed them on to my daughters who also love Barbie...and I admit, I still love Barbie ;) Thanks for such a wonderful giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI remember being a kid and visiting my Aunt, Uncle and my two cousins. They were older then me and always let me play with their old Barbie toys~ my favorite was the RV! One of my cousin's boyfriend's, who was her one and only love and she eventually married, used to always sit and play Barbies with me, made me feel like a princess :) Todd passed away a couple years ago, he was diagnosied with MS as an adult. I still can't keep from smiling when I think of all the fun memories he gave me and treasure them always. My daughter AND my son love playing with Barbies now, and I will never discourage boys from having fun too! :)

Enjoyed Barbie so very much when I was younger! I was not one of the girls that cut their hair or anything that would change the way they looked (except their clothes of course!) lol My barbies had to be perfect and organized in my barbie case. I actually saved a few to pass down when I had a daughter, however they seemed to have disappeared when I moved away from home after high school. I still wonder what happened to them.......
ReplyDeletePlaying with Barbies will always be a special memory for me!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter 16 years ago she was 2 years old and for Christmas her Aunt bought her her very first Barbie mind you she had other dolls but when she saw her beautiful Barbie she refused to open it and never has since! She has a very nice collection that she is excite to pass down to her first daughter due in September so Kylee-Rose will inherit her most prize posessions from her mom! I hope I can add this to her beautiful collection! Thanks

ReplyDeleteI'm secretely still in love with Ken....
ReplyDeleteI used to play Barbies with my sister and we would gather various household items and "create" rooms for our Barbies and then play. I think the creating was the best part.
