Little white lies ... we all tell them don't we? I mean how could you possibly hurt your child's feelings by telling them something wasn't pretty or something wasn't good? We are faced in life with determining when is it alright to lie or stretch the truth and then can it be controlled? Some people will tell white lies that turn into compulsive lying so there is a fine line to it all. I often tell white lies to just make things easier too. I might say that I like something when I don't or that something is good even if it's not but it's better than hurting someone's feelings. I told my brother a little white lie in that I didn't receive his e-mail for my explanation as to why I hadn't written. I really did but I was just too busy and I've been using that excuse a bit much so I didn't want him to think I was just too busy for him. To me, it made sense.
