Christmas is quickly approaching and with these wonderful holidays, the need for Christmas cards is essential to keep the holiday mood going. I used to spend countless hours trying to find the perfect holiday cards each year while trying to be the first one to ensure I had an assortment to choose from. It had to reflect the person I am while exhibiting a touch of elegance. This was all fine until I discovered the use of photo cards which now, I'm addicted to them.
I take so many pictures and love to give them out at Christmas and find holiday photo cards that allow multiple photos are my best options since some of my recipients only see my children once a year. As part of my participation in a Global Influence campaign for Cards Direct, I'm sharing some of my favorite cards along with some tips on adding some extra "you" with each one. The only problem I have with Cards Direct is they have so many great choices that it makes it hard to decide. They are also a one stop shop for all your paper card needs such as business greeting cards, which I use) to birth announcements to birthday invitations and more.
I narrowed my favorites down to these three:
Some of my tips for adding that extra "you" into each card:
- Have the children sign their names versus having them imprinted
- Stick crystal diamond type stickers on the envelope
- Purchase customized photo stamps to match the card
- Purchase a personalized stamp with a Ho Ho Ho or other greeting
Don't forget the New Year's Eves cards too!

ReplyDeleteI LOVe the hiloday season and I truly enjoy sending out and receiving Christmas Cards. The thing I love most about Christmas cards is that it is a great opportunity to remind those you love that you are thinking about them whether they are near or far.
ReplyDeleteI love getting photo Christmas cards because it gives my an opportunity to see how much family and firends have grown.

Since I was a child, on eof my fondest memories about Christmas was watching my grandmother hang the Christmas cards by the fireplace mantel. I remember how beautiful they looked. Now that I am starting my family, I look forward to continuing the same Christmas card tradition.

Having moved to San Diego, CA from Syracuse, NY, the warm holiday season has been quite a different experience. Each year, I love to send a Christmas card to all my family and friends snowed in on the east coast with a picture of me on the beach with my surfboard and santa hat.
