As a regular writer, consumer and fan of Arnold and Oroweat Sandwich Thins, I wanted to let you know about this great new contest. Arnold and Oroweat Sandwich Thins have teamed up with Food Network Chef Claire Robinson, host of “5 Ingredient Fix,” to inspire creativity in the kitchen through the “Spin on Thin” recipe contest.
On the Sandwich Thins Facebook page, entrants can submit their original recipes, made with any flavor of Sandwich Thins, for a chance to win $2,000 cash and an all-expense paid trip to New York, one of Claire’s favorite foodie cities. Now if you enter and win, you have to share with me .. okay, you really don't but you do have to share your recipe!
The “Spin on Thin” contest entry period is running now through November 29 and is broken up into five distinct periods that reflects Claire’s diverse culinary background.
To enter, submit an original sandwich recipe, using Arnold and Oroweat Sandwich Thins, along with a photograph of the creation, based on the below themes:
- 9/6/10 – 9/27/10 - Fall Harvest: seasonally-based, and specifically corresponding to the fall
- 9/27/10 – 10/18/10 - Unexpected Adventure: creative, surprising ingredient combinations
- 10/18/10 – 11/8/10 - International Inspiration: global, with elements from any corner of the world
- 11/8/10 – 11/29/10 - Spin on Thin: a healthy version of a classic, favorite recipe
