Breast cancer is something that has probably affected at least someone you know or someone in your not so distant family tree. My great grandmother had it and to date, I've been lucky to not have anyone else in my immediate family with it. I also don't know of anyone personally who has fought the battle or lost it. Since I come from a family full of girls and have my own, breast cancer is a serious issue and health concern. It's Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I wanted to share some ways one of my favorite beauty company's is helping the cause: Avon Breast Cancer Crusade!
Avon is working to fight this horrible disease by not only raising awareness but also by funds. In 1992, Avon Breast Cancer Crusade raised and awarded more than $640 million worldwide to support the breast cancer cause thus allowing access to high-quality breast cancer screening and treatment to those women medically under-served.
Avon Breast Cancer Crusade products are very affordable with 100% of the net proceeds donated to the cause! What a great way for Avon to give back!
